Do you think smoking should be allowed in the playgrounds?
On quite a few occassions I have taken my 5 year old daughter and 5 month old baby to the local parks and found that a lot of people are smoking in the playground. I can understand people smoking in the park but inside the fenced in area where children are playing I think it is disgusting. I want to be able to take my kids out to play and breathe in fresh air not smoke.
What do you think?

I am absoluely 100% with you.

I can't understand people who smoke around their kids. My dad used to do it and my brother had lots of ear problems because of it and I grew up resenting my dad's complete lack of giving a sh*7 that we didn't want to breathe in his smoke.

It's outside so it has no real impact on you and presumably they are there to keep an eye on their kids.

Onagar-it does have an impact on me and my children. Someone blowing smoke in to my babies pram. In the rest of the park fair enough but in the playground where it is full of kids. Did you know that babies who come in to contact with smoke has the risk of cotdeath significantly increased . I understand that thye are there to watch their kids but why can't they smoke on the way to the playground etc. It is bad for their children too but that is the parents choice however I do not want my kids subjected to it. Totally disrespectful.
