How the hell do I calm a mad animal down?

How the bloody hell do you calm a cat down when you have got them giddy lol.

I have just been playing with my cat, walked into the kitchen to put something in the oven and the bloody thing ran up my leg scaring me half to death lol. luckily he didn't hurt me, i am now sat trying to type on here and he is jumping on and off my knee and biting me.

I'll have a pint of what he's had.

hold him and just stroke him gently. if it like my previous cat u will need to hold pretty tight and doge the clawa and teeth

LOL, i wish i'd never started playing with him when the kids are up, i usually have a mad half hour with him when they are in bed but i'm out on the lash tonight, don't want him hurting the kids, even though I know he won't mean it, they don't.
