Good news for xmas

Mine is that Dh's leukemia check up was all OK and he is still fine!

DH has agreed to move out of north london to the sw/surrey area so we can be nearer my family in a better area etc etc , so will be celebrating next xmas down there (if all goes according to plan).

I got my dining table and chairs in time. Trivial to some, but the culmination of months of work for me.

We thought my Mum had breast cancer a couple of weeks ago but she hasn't

My dd is now settled in her new home. She is disabled and has been living in a third floor flat with no lift for years. Since being pregnant and having her dd (6 mths old) she has been unable to leave her flat with out help to negotiate the stairs and for someone to carry her dd, at times she felt like a prisoner in her own home.

She was offered a house just around the corner from me, she moved in at the weekend. Its been hard work moving her and trying to organise Christmas but she says she feels like she has won the lottery and its the best Christmas present she could have wished for.
