I like DS's but trying to remember what it is

its red and black and I got it from Kiddicare

merryTissmas · 21/12/2005 08:42

I got the Jane Indy Plus, which is Isofix. It's fine, qite easy to install. It's supposed to recline, but we have never been able to do this. Dd has slept in it upright, though, without any problems.

We got it from our local independent baby shop.

merryTissmas · 21/12/2005 08:43

Twiglett, Maxi Cosi Rodi? Dds seat in my car (not Isofix) is that one, and it's fine too!

FairyTaleinNewYork · 21/12/2005 08:43

we had th graco ones but i've found out they did badly in tests. just looking at the jane indy plus, is it hulababy who has one?

yes maxi cosi rodi .. think its great

FairyTaleinNewYork · 21/12/2005 08:50

do car seats generally go into the sales? i know kiddicare sell off last seasons fabrics cheaper, but am wondering if i should wait a week or 2.

Doubt the sales really affect car seats - they are often on offer anyway. £20 off is about the most you'd get unless you are really lucky. We're going to look for one for dd after Christmas though. The Jane one is the only isofix booster as far as I'm aware, but if you find another do post ! Might get a Britax Elite or that one. ds has a Rodi and it has been great but dd hasn't reached the minimum weight yet.

FairyTaleinNewYork · 22/12/2005 20:08

where can i find out more about this seat?

FTINY i got my britax highliner in the 'sale' in october. (£39.99 i think!)

i find that each month motehrcare have a select few car seats in their monthly sale... or else theres kiddiecare which normally ahs bargain car seats!

TroutSprout · 22/12/2005 20:37

We've got the britax Kid . Got it from Boots. Hugs her head really well so that she can sleep for long journeys. suits up to 11 years of age.Very good

FairyTaleinNewYork · 22/12/2005 20:39

sorry, i am looking at the Concord Trimax Riva and wandering if anyone can find out if the straps can be used longer than other seats. i cant d\find anything googling it.

trimax x-line got a bad review, but cant find anything about the Trimax Riva, which is a newer design i belive. dd2 will outgrow the elite too fast, tho i guess i can then pass it down to dd3 when she outgrows the eclipse.

feel bad as i have a cruiser plus which tested really badly.

OP posts:
LIZS · 22/12/2005 21:05

yes Trimax got criticised but the Lift was well regarded - kiddicare do it. Think you may be able to use the harness up to 25kg.

LIZS · 22/12/2005 21:08

isn't Riva just the fabric finish, still part of xline range.
