I have just joined mumsnet.com...and think it's absolutely great!
I thought that maybe some of the mums (and dads perhaps) would like to know of a forum which I have attached to my own personal website.
It was formed a few weeks ago to highlight the issues that a lot of parents have regarding the care their children have received from the NHS.
It was set up with mainly the parents/grandparents/friends of 'heart' children in mind (I myself have a 'heart' baby) but we welcome ANYONE at all who has the experience of caring for ANY sick child.
With out trying to belittle other message boards and forums (who I think do a great job....this one included!), we differ in the fact that we don't mind what you have to say....whether it be good or bad we really don't mind. A lot of message boards/forums don't like you naming a hospital or doctor unless it is in a good way....for the fear the hospital or doctor may try and close the board down.
Well we believe that every parent has the right to be heard...and every parent has the right to support in whatever situation they may find themselves in. Hopefully by sharing our experiences on the Hart To Heart forum, we can do just that!
