I have bought a floaties swim seat for dd2 who is 4 months - my question is, will she need to wear armbands aswell or is the seat on its own enough? Didn't use one with dd1 so am clueless, and now dd2 has had all her jabs I really want to take her swimming.

Seat is totally fab. Doesn't need armbands at all. Ds wizzes around in it, especially if someone is holding one of his rubber ducks just in front. Several of us used to stick our babes in their floatie and then carry on with our Aqua class!

He still fits in it at 9.5 months, but now likes some time out of the floatie with armbands instead.

Thanks Fisil! I am really looking forward to taking her now!

Oh, how much red wine have I had, hadn't noticed it was you. Well done for winning your trip to Alton Towers. When are you going? Will the tiny one come too?

Sorry fisil, got distracted watching 100 scary moments programme - I dunno when we will go, depends if there are any restrictions etc. I am just so chuffed as I never win anything!
