FlameRobin · 16/12/2005 19:26

I have a sling, but the more I hear, the more I want hugababy too

misdee · 16/12/2005 19:28

try a moby, its similar and hal the price.

Wilkinet gets my vote. Looks complicated, but you get the hang of it really quickly and it's so comfortable to use (unlike 'normal' slings). I'm surprised dd2 doesn't still have it welded to her bum, she was in it that much!

I made a hugababy/moby thing and it was a fantastic first carrier!

(Hemmed a looooong piece of slightly stretchy material, tapered the ends, et voila.)

we had a baby bjorn and really loved it (thats not the only one on ebay btw, i just couldnt rememeber what it was called so thought i would give you a link instead). the fact that you could take the front off meant it was much easier to get baby out if he was asleep rather than taking off the whole kaboodle and waking him up. was also really easy to adjust so me and dp could both use it without spending hours faffing about gettting the straps right. ds loved being carried facing forwards
