I am going out on Friday night for the first time in ruddy ages (yay!!!) It's only for a meal with my sister and my mum but hey I'm not complaining. I am even having it paid for me. And as I am feeling rather excited I thought I would even go so far as to put make up on (I know - your shocked I can tell !!) But whilst rummaging through my make up bag today I realised most of it is really old, and I mean like going into years not months. Is it bad for your skin to wear stuff that old or can I get away with it?

if it's years old I would throw away and maybe just buy the basics for your night out ( mascara and a good lipstick - and then add more as and when you can - eyeliner, blusher, lip pencil etc etc)
have a lovey night!

ummm I tend ot chuck out stuff that's been hanging around in my make up bag for a year. Except eye pencil which I sharpen.

I've never had a problem with powder stuff like blusher or eye-shadow, but teh liquid stuff like foundation and mascara clogs up.

life is too short for bad makeupl.

Yeah, you're all probably right. Hana, that's a good idea, I'll go out and get the bear essentials and build up again from there.
