Advice needed - sleeping over....

Been having a few rough nights with DD (2 1/2) - not settling in the first place, and then crying on and off during the night. She has a cough, normally just nights, but spread into days today too.

She is meant to be sleeping at my friend's tonight (who has children), and normally she sleeps really well there (often better than at home...)

I don't know if I should let her stay still or not! My gut is saying not - we have the cinema tickets booked, and I'm thinking about saying that we'll call when the film finishes and see how things are/if we should get her.

What do you think? Should I be going out at all?? Am I worrying unnecessarily? (Its not like abandoning her to strangers when she is poorly, they are like a second family to her)

if its with who i thinks its with then she will be fine drop her off, go see ur film and ring afterwards to check all is ok. if not she can come home with you but shes likely to have been playing so much she's exhausted and already alseep !! plus, me thinks, psycho knows what to do ;)

Feel mean leaving her to deal with it on a school night

oh i see now. dose her up with Medised/Calpol.
she would have said no if she didn't want to look after her wouldn't she?

why not ring and let her know and she what she says then?

She's in Trowbridge for the day doin birthday things with her friend... don't want to hassle her. I'll see how things go during the day (and pack up all B's stuff), and discuss when she gets home this evening.
