how old were yours when....?

they first got their teeth? ds2 seems to have been teething since birth but still no sign of any teeth and he is 8 months now.

When ds1 was this age he had 4 and another coming!

ds was teething for yonks didnt get first tooth until he was 11 m

DD was 13/14 months when her first tooth casame through, despite having shown so-called teething symptoms from about 3-4 months. They then all came through in the worng order; her middle two bottom ones being some of the last ones.

blimey! how did u go on with weaning then? did it all slow down because of no teeth?

ds is nearly 7 months and has 2 bottom teeth. The first one appeared at around 5 months. I haven't noticed much in the way of teething, although he is well in the running for Bad Sleeper of the Year!

Didn't slow eating down at all - DD was weaned at 4 months (as was the guideline from HV at time) and adored her food from start. Before 6 months she was eating lumps and enjoying finger foods. Her first Christmas, aged 8 mmonths, she ate fillet steak, yorkshire pudding and all the veggies, etc - all with no teeth. Her gums were rock hard though.

Hulababy ds dentist says the later the teeth the stronger

DS 4 months, DD 5 months. DN just got his first at 10 months.

We actually ended up at the hospital dentist and got DD's checked out as middle bottom two came through so late. As they came late and had less room, they are a little crooked. Hoping that this is osrted when second lot come through. We shall see.

DS got his first tooth at 6 months (last new years day in fact). He then got them at regular intervals and had 16 teeth by about 14m I think. Couldn't believe he had so many so soon
