eastbourne restaurants

Am taking family to theatre in eastbourne tomorrow for DS1 birthday treat, can anyone suggest anywhere to eat- would be early (6ish) with 3 kids and vegetarian granny. (one child doesnt eat pizza/pasta). As usual have left myself plenty of time to sort this out so all help would be appreciated

A lot of restaurants in the road running down to the sea from were it intersects with Pevensey Road. Sorry can't think of any offhand to recommend but I am sure you'll find something there. Otherwise Wimpy and McDonalds near the Arndale (Sussex Stationers) entrance!

Italian place (not posh) but kitsch opposite the theatres. Presume veg' options available, hope something other than pizza/pasta for your child! It's child-friendly, seconds walk from the theatres and cheap! Wish I could remember the name of the restaurant and the exact theatre its opposite, t its dead opposite the entrance of the theatre that isn't the Congress or Devonshire Park. Which theatre is that, the winter garden?
