Roof insulation? Anyone had this done?

I really need to insulate my roof itself (the attic has loft-boards down so I need insulation on the inside of the roof itself). Has anyone had this done recently? How much will it cost?

What are you going for

Loft insulation held in place by tape/battons or sprayed on?

Mind you I don't know why I'm asking as I don't know how much either costs - sorry MP
