A great night turned into a really BAD day!

Where do I start. Took my mum to see Rod Stewart last night and we had a fantastic night. He played over 30 songs and I seriously thought i wouldn't enjoy myself but after a glass of wine I was dancing all night he was fantastic!
Anyway today was the day MIL and FIL took dt's to see father christmas at Harrods Dior outfits an all. On arrival at about 9.30 (could even have been earlier) we were told the queue was 2.5 hours long and they had shut the queue off. We were told to come back in around 45 mins. So after trailing around the toy/clothes department with twins and a double buggy in tow we went back and were told to come back in 2 hours . However they still couldn't guarentee that the queue was open. If possible we was told to come back at around 5'o clock!
We had already been there 3 hours and we went back to be told to come back at 6.
The whole thing was a disaster. I was angry, twins were tired and hungry and all for nothing!
So the perfect day MIL had hoped for was shattered. Guess were off to lakeside!

Oh dear - I was wondering after your thread a couple of weeks ago how it would all go. Still, at least they'll grow out of the Dior outfits soon and you can sell them for cash for presents next year! Plus, next year when you go somewhere local to see FC, the twins will be able to remember it and less likely to be scared of him!
