DS 1 is seeing a production of Aladdin at school next week and also seeing it at the local pantomime. I want to try and introduce him to the story as he is deaf and unlikey to pick it up just watching. My problem is I don't remember the story, my efforts to find a book today in town failed. Anyone able to recomend a website, or book (could look again tomorrow) suitable for a 4 year old.
I also need to provide him with a pair of chinese plaits to wear to the school production?! Any ideas where to buy black wool?

Hi geogteach

I think you are in my neck of the woods and wonder if the old fashioned dept store/outfitters(Knights?) near Morrisons car park in Reigate would do wool (they have a haberdashery/fabric dept at the back) otherwise a market stall or Poundstretcher. You might find a Disney book version of the story or in the library but expect you've tried that already.

Hi there,

I was looking for various fairy tales online the other day (same thing: couldn't remember ..), and found the Aladdin story (amongst lots and lots of others!) here
A short version is here

Hope this helps.

Ta, going to knights now... was just trying to avoid the horrors of parking in Reigate!
