I've always wanted to have a scent that is so me - I am still searching for something that would be my signature - my best friend's is Opium - I usually wear Clarins Eau Dynamisante as a daily splash on, sometimes Clinique's Elixir Aromatique- I love anything with a woody(especially sandalwood) scent & nutmeg - what do other mumsnetters have as their signature ?(and don't say baby sick !)

I think I need to go shopping ! Looking at all of these is just tooooo tempting.

suzyj · 20/10/2003 10:15

CK1 has been my main fave for about 10 years, but also Contradiction, Eau Dynamisante, and the Hugo boss for girls one. Like the Issy Miyake light and fresh kind generally.

This thread has inspired me to go and have a spritz right now, in fact!

chanel no 5 and I have just ordered Guerlains 'Apres L'Ondee' for my wedding day because the heroine of one of my favourite books wears it. Its lovely.

ANGELMOTHER · 20/10/2003 11:09

Jo Malone......Amber & Lavender, expensive but dreamy

zebra · 20/10/2003 11:20

Tikka Massala Curry Sauce, actually.

bluecow · 20/10/2003 13:08

Beautiful by Estee Lauder - and I feel naked without it. I started wearing it about 10 years ago when I commented to two people at different times that they had lovely perfume on and they both said they were wearing 'Beautiful'.

ThomCat · 20/10/2003 13:13

I switch between Issey Miyake and Touch by Burburry, of and the odd spray of an Armani one - forgot the name. Dp also wears Issey and Touch, the mens versions though! i also have a couple of Jo Malones knocking around somewhere, one I don't like and one I do - the grapefruit one.

Can't bear Poison.

Bluegrass makes me cry - reminds me of my nana.

Fifth avenue, Elizabeth arden;
White linen, Estee Lauder;
Alliage, Estee Lauder.

Stargazer · 20/10/2003 22:38

In no particular order:

Coco
Calyx - Prescriptives
Bulgari Black
Samsara
Ysatis
Dioressence
Miss Dior
Eau Dynamisante

What I wear depends on my mood when I wake up!

prufrock · 21/10/2003 09:44

After a brief flirtation with CKOne, I now wear L'Artisan Parfumerie "Le Mechant Loup" and occasionally no. 19

My mother has worn Lanvin Arpege since she was 16 and I really really associate that smell with her.

Frenchgirl · 21/10/2003 11:18

dd wears Junior by Lacoste (not every day, she smells lovely without perfume obviously!), it smells of red fruit and is really delicious. it's the only child's scent I really like, worth a try if you can find it...

binker · 21/10/2003 12:18

Poison - eew (I used to like it when younger !)- has anyone tried the new Clinique Simply ?

Jo Malone - tuberose.

tinyfeet · 21/10/2003 20:21

Didn't realize it was so popular, but Chanel Allure for me. Also Annick Goutal, I think it's called Ce Soir ou Jamais.

Actually, lately, just deoderant, as for some reason while I'm pregnant, I can't be bothered with perfume.

princesspeahead · 21/10/2003 20:23

another pampelune by guerlain here, frenchgirl. or lancome's tresor
