Missing food!!

I know this should really be on the food thread but I wanted as much help as possible!

Best friends birthday in about a month and as well as her main pressie I want to get her a couple of little things that I know she'll really appreciate, even though they're going to sound really silly. There's two food items that she loves but we haven't seen anywhere for ages and she really misses them.

  1. Pringles Ridges - came in a dark blue tube.
  2. Galaxy Swirls - they were caramel in chocolate and sort of round, wrapped and in a little bag.

If anyone knows where you can get either of these PLEASE tell me. I'll pay (almost) anything, because she keeps going on about missing these and it would make her day!

Can't help I'm afraid wobbly, but I thought from your title this was going to be another David Blaine thread!!! Have you tried Woolworths? They seem to stock a pretty huge range. The food I'd like to find is Country Store cereal from Kelloggs.

Lol - I'm sick to death of David!!!! I've tried Woolies and loads of shops like that but none of them have got the Ridges. They all did about a year ago but then they just disappeared!!!

Haven't heard of Country Store but I'll keep my eyes open while I'm looking for the other stuff!!!

Anybody else got any food they can't find?? (and I don't mean stuff your DH ate without telling you!!!)

LOL the only food missing in my house is the food I ate without telling anyone!

My husband gave me dire warnings about the Valrona chocolate being very special. Then I was fiddling in the fridge, moved the packet and found it was EMPTY!!!! Greedy git About the Pringles, have you tried Google for the manufacturer? You might be able to get them direct, I did this with Cadbury's miniatures which are hard to find in the shops.

Davros - thanks but I've already tried that. They're made by Gamble & Proctor and their website only leads to me finding nothing!!! And Galaxy is just as bad!!!

There must be somewhere in the UK that has one or the other but I can't find where!!! I might ring both companies tomorrow but up until now I've always been able to find anything I wanted, or at least a trace of it on the net!!
