You were very good last year at helping me create an Innkeeper costume for DS1's nursery nativity.

They have now announced that tjis year they are performing 'The Snowman' and Ds is to be a snowflake!!!

Any ideas would be gratefully received as I am just as cr*p at arty things and I was last year.

BTW, if I do not reply until later or tomorrow, I shall apologise in advance.

How about making a poncho either out of voile material/net curtaining or crepe/tissue paper based upon the paper ones the children make (when you fold into quarters and make snips) and a hole in centre for head. You could add glitter or sequins. Underneath he wears white tshirt/trousers

My DD is also a snowflake in her school concert, although I have just to send her in wearing a plain white t shirt, plain white shorts, white socks and white shoes.

The school supplies the rest of the snowflake. I've just tried to ask DD what it is like but she just said "pretty and glittery" so not much help sorry!

I think it is some kind of cape/poncho type thing and a hat?? Sorry!

BUY A BIG PAPER TABLE CLOTH and fold it and cut patterns like you probably did with paper as a kid. Cut a hole in the middle, and stick it over his head.
sorry about caps.

DS is also a snowflake. I have bought a cheap long sleeve tshirt from Tescos and have sowed paper doilies on to it. He is also wearing white shorts and long white socks, and white trainers.

That is exactly what I will do, coribels.

Thanks for idea of where to buy the long sleeve t-shirt. I was a bit concerned about that and the trousers. I have NEVER seen white torusers for children!

Once agin, thanks all for the suggestions
