Ebay/Paypal Question

I'm waiting for an auction to end on Ebay for an item that I really need urgently for ds1's Christmas concert costume. The seller says on the payment instructions: "Paypal funded direct from bank account or funds - No credit/debit card payments please". My Paypal account is linked to my credit card. But what difference does it make to the seller? It's instant anyway, isn't it? I didn't think the seller would know how I'd paid?
I'm not very clued up with this Ebay/Paypal stuff . Can anyone explain?

hi
some people cant recieve payments from credit cards depending on what they signed up to with paypal. Thats why it is better if you have funds actually in your account for them.

Should be fine if you have a paypal, probably means they can't take payments direct from credit cards only from other paypal accounts.

Ah, thank you. I didn't realise it would make a difference. I thought as long as it was money, that would be OK!
