Would you pick a different one ?

One of the diamonds fell out of my engagement ring recently, the jewellers have said they will replace it. I can either have the same ring or pick another to the same value.

Although I do like my ring, I don't love it. It was brought by me and DP int he heat of the moment because I had to have a ring that day and there was only limited money available.

Would you take the chance to pick a ring you loved or would you pick the same ring for sentimental values, because it was the ring the 2 of you brought together ?
Am going to sort it out today and don't know what to do

How does dp feel about it? I would be so tempted to pick a different one.

I'd pick one I loved, as long as I wasn't hurting his feelings, and I'd make sure I did it in a subtle, lovely way etc.

Pick this one out together as well, then it's still sentimental.

Well i have decided to go for the same one. Think alot of the problem was that it wasn't a great fit and always seemed to swing around my finger. Have no arranged for it to be re-sized so it fits perfectly.
