Story CD for 6yo DS...I'm lacking inspiration, confidence and knowledge!

I want to get DS another story CD as part of birthday present. He already has Just So Stories and Roald Dahl.

What else is good for a (soon to be) 6 year old boy?

Horrid Henry.

Just William (Ds liked this when he was 5 - and still does)

DS is obsessed with story CDs. He listened to Horrid Henry over and over again but now at 8 has moved on to Just William, read by Martin Jarvis. He also loves the Stephen Fry Harry Potter but your DS maybe a bit young for that yet. What about Paddington, again read by Stephen Fry? DS still loves those.

We used to listen to Mark Spark in the Dark (Jacqueline Wilson) when the dds were that age. It's lovely, great for that age group.

And there was a good Dick King-SMith one (not by favourite author by a long way), the one about the Great Dane. Can't remember the title.

Thank you! I'm off to amazon to get searching. All sound good. Did look at harry potter, he knows the films, may look again (was scared off by price and '7 CD set'...I know hence the price! Just yikes!!)
