Help: Who knows Chiswick well?

Got an interview on the Chiswick High Road tomorrow afternoon at 3pm. It's an assessment day so likely to be around 3 hours and I drove for the 1st interview but don't fancy spending my evening in the M25.

There is a train from Guildford via Clapham Junction but can anyone tell me where the mainline station is in relation to my interview location? I parked up near the town hall /WH Smiths last week and that was only 5 minutes walk back towards the A4 which was ideal (but was limited to 2 hours on the meter so that's no good if I do decide to drive).

dh works in chiswick he says gunnersbury is your nearest station and it is on chiswick high road. HE is ill in bed so can't tell you much more except i know its about 10/15 mins to high street, plus its just opposite chiswick park where loads of businesses are based and the bsi building. Good luck for tommorrow - which company is it - as dh might be able to suggest some possible parking spaces

Thanks. It's Inproveline.com which is in Bond House where Delta records are based. I passed the BSI building I think as I drove up. It was really the near to the green and a church.

I think [dh is back to sleep so i can't check] it is probably about 10mins to the green from gunnersbury - hope this has helped good luck tomorrow - sorry i am not ks

If you stand on the highstreet with the green and church on your left (ie facing west) and walk west down the high street on the south side of the road (ie the side the green is on) you will get to gunnersbury station in 5 mins.

if you want the tube then it is the other direction - walk east up the high street on the NORTH side of the road for 5 mins until you get to turnham green terrace on your left (the first left turn controlled by traffic lights I think), then turnham green tube (district) is another 3 mins up there on your rhs.

good luck!

Turnham Green station is one of those where the tube only stops at certain times of the day. You would need to check that it is open at your time.

Gunnersbury is your best bet - not far to the green - 5-10 mins depending on how fast you walk. Come out of the station and turn rightto get to town hall WH Smiths.

Chiswick station is quite a way from the High Street. You would have to get a bus - the E3 I think?!
