does anyone know of a place in SW London where kids can do ballet lessons on a week by week basis, i.e. not having to pay for the term in advance. All the places I've tried are v expensive. My daughter loves ballet and I really want to give her the opportunity to do it but at a reasonable price!

swanny i'm in NorthEast and wanted to find ballet lessons or some dance for my dd! I rang "Childrens Services" and asked for all info in my area. There is nothing i can find! But it might be worth giving them a ring, i think thats what they're called! I imagine there's lots more in London........and not to highjack your thread but if anyone does know of any in the NorthEast..........

I'm in Oxford, and contacted the Royal Academy of Dance via their website (try a search engine) to get a contact list of their registered teachers in my area. They do it for all areas, and it's free! From that, found dd1 a ballet school, but it is on a pay per half-term basis. Maybe you could try to negotiate with a sympathetic teacher? Good luck.

swanny we've just started some in n.london, you can pay half-termly and it's about £4 a week, they all seem to be that around here - music, dance etc.
