As far as I know you can't get a false positive. Congratulations

Hello pinky, sorry I don't know anything about your history and risk being hugely insensitive, but there is a risk of a false reading if you had a miscarriage in the last 8 weeks. PLEASE tell me I'm not the pourer of cold water...

MerryMegandSnowySoph · 01/12/2005 15:45

pinky did u use predicter? I used this with dd1 and the wee blob on it was also faint.

maybe to put ur mind at ease could u try a clear blue digital? They are fab and they do as the box says it spells it out for you

Still like compo said "you canny have a false positive" so CONGRATS

pinkystinky · 01/12/2005 16:05

yep used predictor, never used this one b4 , always used clearblue b4!!

I relly didn't like the predicter or the asda home tests as they are the same... its just like a wee blobby thing lol

or what u could also do which I always reccomend when u have firt teted is to go to your chemist and ask them to do a test. They give you a result paper to take to your gp when its + and as it's there in black and white it somehow makes it sink in more.

pinkystinky · 01/12/2005 16:30

Once its sunk it maybe a + ill ring the dr's! I usually have to be sent for a dateing scan early as i have pco and dont ovulate that often!!
