Quick someone help! What blummin' tights do I need?

Never been very ultra-feminine so I could do with some help/advice for this evening please. I'm off out to DH's Christmas party...have the dress(some of you will have seen my velvet sewing emergency about half an hour ago!)....have the shoes...(strappy high black things that I'm sure to fall and break my neck!) but what tights should I wear as they're strappy? Can you get them with no seams at the feet or should I go without?? (Brrrrrrr)

Try M&S they do sheer tights that you can wear with sandals.

I'd go without, personally, unless the do was outside

It's in a marquee...but is heated and ....a bit 'posh'.
