Poor Dds so upset!!

Dd1 came back from school in tears yesterday as she wasn't picked to be anything special in the Nativity play . She wanted to be an angel, but is a 'villager' (whatever that is?!) To make matters worse one of her best friends is Mary. I tried to explain to her that not everyone can play a main part and the fact that she speaks so quietly to the teachers (she will only whisper!!!) probably didn't help, but she's soooooo upset. Don't see why they can't make all the little girls angels - that's what they used to do when I was at school.

Could you tell her that the role of the villager is very important - might be difficult if you don't know what they do - but depending on how old she is you could say that the villagers were very helpful and told the angels where the manger was - or something along those lines.

aww bless, DS has never had good parts, because he has Cerebral palsy and can't do all the walking around needed, he is always one of the narracters
