This is for anyone who just wants to get a bit of crap off their chest. Here's mine..

DH wants to stay at home with the kids and me work but he spends half an hour with them and they all hate each other.

He says we've 'trapped' him - joint decision to have them or so I thought.

We're absolutely broke and the debt is rising fast.

Not enough hours in the day to be with kids, clean house, do work and revise for damned exam tonight!

Kids don't listen to anything you say - or if they do choose to ignore it anyway.

I'm a crappy mum today - all stressed.

Dh can't seem to move at all during the night to see to the snotty coughing kids so I'm knackered.

Umm what else?

TV is knackered just 6 weeks after they mended it.

Sky doesn't appear to be working today.

They won't stop fighting today.

I'm sure there's more, I'll add more later.

Happy Wednesday everyone!!

on a practical note - talk to the CAB about your debt problems.

piffle · 30/11/2005 09:17

Anything I can do pfer as a close by person to help ya?

pfer · 30/11/2005 09:18

I would but in theory if I wasn't so tired from looking after the kids and they weren't both mummies boys who seem to not want me until I'm doing something that doesn't involve them I'd be able to get some work done and things wouldn't be half as bad as they are. Just seems like I've hit a brick wall and the ladder's broken.

My childless work colleague keeps trying to make me feel guilty for taking off on maternity leave after tomorrow - even though I'm 38 weeks along.

I want to tell her how my mother tried to pull guilt trips on me for 18 years and they worked not a jot.

But instead, I think I'll just lie in a bit on Friday and enjoy the last bit of peace I'll have before the baby arrives.

The bus driver this morning was such a twonk I phoned the bus company to report him. He stopped about 10m from the actual bus stop and let loads of folks on, so me and a disabled woman had to wait for another bus b/c by the time he got to the proper stop it was standing room only.

pfer · 30/11/2005 09:51

expat - hope all goes well. what a fab time to be having a baby! What's your edd?

I'm due 18 December. She can just get stuffed. I feel s*&te as it is and was warned by the consultant a fortnight ago to slow down.

pfer · 30/11/2005 10:03

Are you at work now? Not abusing the company's internet are you?

Go home, put your feet up each loads of mars choc ices like I did (mind you I then had to sneak out to buy more so DH didn't notice).

Well with just 18 days to go I hope you're not too fed up. The last bits can be rubbish can't they? Good luck, hope all goes well, which I'm sure it will.

Oh,and poke her in the eye with a biro on your way out...

I have nothing helpful to say to either of you, but I want to say that you have helped put my woes in perspective... none of my whingey stuff is as big as yours.

ThomCat · 30/11/2005 12:21

There is always someone worse off than you. That's what I always tell myself when I feel a bit blue, which isn't oftern. You have to learn to count your blessings in life and see the good in things.
A good whinge is always good though!

baublerock · 30/11/2005 12:25

Me!!! I just spent the last 36 hours in bed with stomach flu and the 36 hours before that looking after DH and DS1. It was such a nasty bug!! - I was just V**ing (can't type the word), hallucinating, shivering, burning up - Now I'm just spinning and fragile but feeling a lot better!
