Heat resistant pads for large dining table - where do you buy them from?

Finally DH and I have bought a decent table to go in our new kitchen. Basic size is about 3ft by 6ft, it's oak and I want to protect it. I was planning to put a wipeable table cloth over the top for every day use, but I'd also like to get one of those heat resistant pad things that you can put underneath the table cloth.

Does anyone know where I can get one from?

Other slight complication is that the table has 2 extending bits, so can sit 10 and will need to do this for Christmas and New Year...so ideally, I'd like a LARGE heat resistant pad!

Helpful suggestions wanted please?!

John lewis do table coverings and you can cut them to the right size so you should buy one for whole table and then cut off the bits for the extending bits.

Yes, John Lewis have the stuff on a roll.
