...i bought some stronghold (selamectin) to de-worm and keep fleas away.....i always keep them wormed regularly (for the last 8 years i have never seen one...a worm that is) after giving them both a worming dose last wednesday, one of my cats is er ...passing worms....this is so disgusting, i have him trapped him in the utility and steam cleaned pratically all of my house.....

how long will this go on for?!?!?! i phoned my vets to ask them and they said 24hrs... but it clearly isn't the case....i didnt even realise that worming cats would make them er...come out alive, i thought they would be dead.... sorry if tmi

She is bigger now, I love kittens too, my fat boy (2 yrs old) had to rushed to the vet last night, and I was really worried but he is ok, thank god.

He has a lower tract infection he peed bright red wee by me while I was tidying up the bathroom, the vet said that his bladder is inflamed but not blocked. He was given 2 injections and hopefully that will help him. He is isn't peeing a lot, just dribbling, but we are moisten his food and trying to make him drink, so he should be ok.

grocedout · 25/11/2005 23:19

poor thing, hope he gets better soon, good job he peed near you for you to notice!

I am glad he did too, otherwiase I would have been running round going 'who peeing blood, Nemo or Dory??' and freaking out even more.
