more than mine- I dress them in football kits and named trabs.

scoobysnax · 10/10/2003 19:35

CountessDracula · 10/10/2003 19:45

codswallop · 10/10/2003 19:45

katierocket · 10/10/2003 19:45

scoobysnax · 10/10/2003 19:46

ROFL Countess !!!!! Have a scary 'adult baby' image stuck in my head now

At the mo...

14 month old DD is in her mothercare pj's (£11 pk of 2 prs) fast asleep in bed. = £11
11 yr old DS1 is wearing a pair of camouflage combats from Adams (£15) and a Real Madrid shirt (£42) = £57
Almost 10yr old DS2 is wearing a pair of shorts (£9) and a Liverpool away shirt (£30)= £39

doormat · 10/10/2003 20:15

scoobysnax trabs are trainers

WSM · 10/10/2003 20:18

GOD, don't get me started on the bloody trainers issue. I have to buy each DS (2 of) a new pair every couple of months, it's costing a fortune

WSM · 10/10/2003 20:25

So am I the only one who is immune to Mr Boden then ?! Am I the only one to find them over-priced and bland ?!

bossykate · 10/10/2003 20:53

no, wsm, you're not! their boys' stuff is nothing special and pretty expensive, personally i don't bother...

WSM · 10/10/2003 20:54
Grin
Tom · 10/10/2003 20:55

My personal favourite is "black bin liner full of boys clothes age 3-5, £10, Rhondda" in the local Free ads.

Boy is asleep in pjs - from said bin liner

At the moment DD (18 months) is in bed wearing a nappy, her PJ top, and a light weight Grobag so about £30 ish.

During the day today she wore:

Bootleg trousers - bought in Italy from a shop called Brum for about £20
Clarks Boots = £25
Purple top = £15 from Monsoon (a one off treat!)
Poncho = £25 from Gap (couldn't resist)

So, far too much if you add it up today.

Last few days for nursery she has been in dungaree and top sets from George at Asda, costing £8 a set, and Next trainers for about £12 so much better.

CnR · 10/10/2003 21:07

Never heard of Boden - what is it? Might do a web search as I feel I might be missing out!

WSM · 10/10/2003 21:09

www.boden.co.uk. Overpriced shop with unimaginative clothing IMO

WSM · 10/10/2003 21:14

Today DD wore...

a pair of Tesco trousers £9
a longsleeved bodysuit/vest thingy, also Tesco £6 ?? pk of 3
pr of next soft shoes £4 in the sale last wkend
white hooded cardi, Next £14

£33.

eidsvold · 10/10/2003 21:29

shirt from jojomamen £6, pink and navy
shoes form clarks £16, navy and pink
socks tesco 50p, white
baby gro - about£1, white
trousers - one pair next ( got changed at nursery) no idea they were a present, blue
other trousers - £3 pink

at the moment she is in bed -
baby gro - about £1
pjs - cute purple pjs - bought by grandma
sleeping bag - cool tigger material - about £1 ( bought whilst on holidays in Aus - sewn by me )

hers is less than mine. Even now

OldieMum · 10/10/2003 21:34

Top/cardy - about 16 pounds from M&S
Socks - 2 pounds from M&S
Daisyroots shoes - can't remember, about 10-15 pounds
Leggings - free from a friend when she wet a pair she was wearing

WSM · 10/10/2003 21:35

The friend ?!!

OldieMum · 10/10/2003 21:35
