The snow has just started to fall

I'd heard that a city 30 miles north was covered, but we've been bright and sunny all morning.

Just 5 mins ago the sky clouded over and the snow is now falling... very pretty!

Norfolk here, its just freezing cold, dark and torrential downpours, horrible.

It's quite bright here now and Dh says the temperture has risen in town. No sign of snow here yet, and none of the forecast on BBC either.

Have my fingers crossed that it stays away as we are off up to newcastle tomorrow night for the weekend.

BBC 5 day forecast for this area says cloudy with sunny intervals. No mention of precipitation of any sort

I'm in Glasgow and looking to the northern skies with baited breath. I just love extreme weather conditions. When the rest of the country is bemoaning the conditions I love the thought of 2 feet of snow and the place looking like a post card.

I'm on the south side and it's sunny here too but when I was out a wee while ago, clouds were gathering away to the north so with any luck they should be here in an hour
