Hi there - I used to live in Kenton and the Travel Inn is literally 5 mins away by car - but obviously if you're going to some big event/concert at the stadium then yes, there could be a lot of traffic for which you'd have to allow. You could also get the tube(from Northwick Park for the Met.line or from Kenton St.) - its only 2 stops away? Sorry don't know the Express in Wembley though. Hope this helps a bit!

If you're staying in Kenton, I'd get the tube from Northwick Park on the Met Line and travel 2 stops to Wembley, if it was me.

Express by Holiday Inn is right on Hanger Lane gyratory system, of which the north circ runs, and not that much easier with regards to driving and certainly not easier by tube.

Stick to plan a and personally I'd do the tube.

It used to be ok around Kenton - haven't been back for a couple of years now so I can't say how it is now!! (sorry!!!) Yes, tube is a good option - the walk to the stadium isn't too long if I recall rightly - last time I did it I think I went to see AC/DC (or was is Whitesnake)about 17 years ago! And yes, the traffic could be a problem but it isn't far by car either.

The Kenton area is better than staying on the gyratory system. Kenton itself isn't up to much, just an average area but you are a stones throw from Harrow on the Hill which has some lovely restaurants etc.

ooh - you need the Holiday Inn in Wembley - it's 5 minutes walk away and v. nice. Nearest tube station is Wembley Park - or Preston Road.

I'll try to find a link (ha, ha). We used to live a couple of roads away from it and my Mum and Aunty stayed there one Christmas when all our relatives came down but couldn't fit in our house! They said it was fine and it's quite new so still fairly smart!

The hotel is less than 5 mins from Northwick Park tube station - can even give you directions! Basically when leaving the hotel turn right onto the main road (Kenton Rd), cross over and take the first or second on the left (Churchill Ave and Rushout Ave respectively)- either of these will bring you to Northwick Ave - carry on down the road (towards the right!) and you will find the station on your left! Easy peasy!
