OK, just discovered NYE party is fancy dress - theme is Under The Sea. Suggestions please that will fit into a suitcase?

Mermaid, obviously. Or an oyster - grey dress with a pearl necklace? Angler fish if you fancied a laugh?

Just wear a bikini, snorkle and flippers.

Wetsuit if you can get one. Neoprene can be very flattering.

Well, since posting I have made an unplanned visit to the fantastic Indian fabric shops in Shepherds Bush - aided and abetted by my mum who is a dab hand with the sewing machine (thank God) and, thanks to fabulous selection of material, will shortly be reappearing in suitably fishy style...
