How can I get my brain back???

Since having DD, I have gradually lost more and more brain power - I have always been a bit scatty, but it is terrible now.

With the pregnancy this time, I have just turned downright stupid. I have forgotten basic things that I used to know (sciencey stuff especially), and I just feel plain stupid.

I hate it

Is there any way to improve things? A course is out of the question...

read books if you get a chance...best way of keeping brain agile. Less time on Mumsnet and more time in a book (that's what I should be doing anyway!)

I read oodles... it doesn't stay in though - especially during pregnancy. I have realised that I don't remember the ending (or most of the content) of a book I read 3 months ago

How about learning a bit of italian, french or spanish online on the bbc site. I've been doing spanish while dd is napping and its really good for basics. It does make me feel like i'm getting my brain into gear again. You can just do 5 mins at a time.

Crosswords for word-y brain areas stuff and sudoku for logical bits? (As you can tell, I know exactly how the brain works.)
