we don't actually move until the 5th jan!
The reason it took 11 days is because our buyer couldn't agree a date with people above us on the chain.
The chain is only 3 people and we're the only ones buying and selling. We agreed every day that was suggested and then one of them would say no, very annoying

bumping this so everyone can see I'm going to stop whinging and moaning about it

Honestly, I was so ed up with being nice, with being flexiable for other people that I think if we were moving locally I would have told our buyer to shove it where the sun doesn't shine.
I have never in all my life encountered someone as stubborn as him.

LTH, not taken it off the market. Our 12 week tie in finishes on the 8th Dec so we're taking it off then. We've had 3 viewings since we went on. The market is dead so we're just going to relax, do a few bits to the house and garden (nothing major) and put it back on when there are more buyers around

congats!! we've got some dude interesting in ours but he cancelled the 2nd viewing the other day because he couldn't make it up but i've got my fingers crossed he's coming up this weekend coming. i'll have to put on my best 50's perfect husband and father look (minus pipe) again for the viewing.
