I've just noticed something about a transaction I have been refunded for on Ebay.

I paid $21.50 but the item never arrived, the seller was no longer a registered ebay user (although he has now been re-instated) so I filed a claim.

I was refunded to my debit card but only for £6.82.

Does anyone know why I have lost out on money when the seller was clearly in the wrong?

What is the exchage rate? I know there is a % charge for the transaction, I wonder if Paypal have taken the % anyway?

It shows that they refunded me £12.08 but only £6.82 has been refunded into my bank account. I didn't request for it to go to my bank, I would have been happy for it to stay in my paypal account. The seller is meant to be refunding me another £24 but I wonder how much money I will loose out of that. The £24 is in GBP so exchange rate.

How much is in your paypal account? Is the rest still there?

There is something like 51p in my paypal account. I can't even leave the seller NEG feedback now as he has refunded the money. He is still ignoring my emails about the £24 he owes me.
