Nice champagne bar in London

DH and I are child free this weekend and plan on having a day and night in London. We both fancy starting the evening with champagne and although the Atlantic Bar and Grill would have been our venue of choice back in the 90s, I'm sure there must be somewhere nicer now.
Any recommendations please?

TIA

I love the champagne bar in Kettners because it has a great atmosphere and is one of the oldest. Its not incredibly flash or anything though.

How about the Cafe Anglais? The food is pretty amazing too if you want to eat.

Tower42 is the highest, top of the old natwest tower. Or the champagne bar in St Pancras station.

thanks very much for the replies. It might have to be Kettners as that used to be a regular haunt with the old gang back in our PC life (PC being pre children, not politically correct).

Southwark is a bit too far South for us but Tower42 or Onew New Change might be nice as that's my old work area (again, PCSmile)
