Anybody in Sydney?????

A bit of a long shot but....I need to find out about the Northern Suburbs, ie Carlingford, Epping, Berorwa, Hornsby Heights, Thornleigh, and also Parrammatta. Are these soulless built up suburbs or leafy and close to the Bush? Can anybody tell me? Do they have good schools?

I'm in the Eastern Suburbs, so don't have much of an insight into the Northern suburbs.

I've just had a quick look at domain.com.au at properties in Berorwa and Parrammatta and they look pretty nice. Nice big houses on individual plots. Not sure how far from the bush though.

The Berowra public schools website says ' Berowra Public School is situated in a well established residential area, which is surrounded by natural waterways and bushland'.
