I was watching Balamory this morning. They were off to a mosque and were making a big fuss of Spencer having holes in his socks and buying him a new pair for when they went into the mosque and took his shoes off.
However when they went into the mosque for a look round I noticed that Edie MacCready had her hair uncovered.
Now I'm not a Muslim and I don't agree with covering womens hair. However when I went to my friends wedding I did it out of respect for them and their beliefs.
Surely they should have done the same on Balamory out of respect for the people/place they were. Or am I getting confused it is not just Muslims who go to mosques? But other religions go to mosque also who do not cover their hair.
