Renewing vows......

i just suggested to peter than after all this other stuff, that we renew our vows. he said yes (but remember he is doped up to is eyeballs atm and may not remember)

oh its like getting married all over again.

Sounds like a really good idea Misdee, it will give you both something to look forward to (other than the transplant that is)

We are intending on renewing our vows on our 10th anniversary, just trying to decide where!

I would go for something smart formal that you might wear to a second wedding iykwim - and brilliant idea - glad you have something positive to take your mind off things - can just see your dd's dressed up too.. especially dd3 looking like a little angel!!

perhaps you should get a record of him agreeing - written/signed or taped in case he tries to wiggle out of it when not doped up to the eyeballs.... am sure he won't

misdee, when we renewed our vows I wore a long white linen summer dress and headband with sparkly beads on - so not completely weddingy but near enough. ('first time round' I wore green silk with a champagne veil and yellow gerbera! - so the renewal outfit was arguably more 'weddingy'!)

I know it's not the same as having your own, but if you wanted to borrow the dress + headband for the event you're more than welcome... I'm rather short though
