i would like some new cookery books for christmas which ones should i ask for?

i'm a veggie who eats meat but is happy to cook meat for DH and adapted meat reciepes with veggies alternatives.
i like easy to follow recipes without too many weird and wonderful ingredients.

Katz - I have all the Jamie books, The Dinner Lady, lots of Delia (including her veggie one), and literally tons of others.

As you know I don't eat meat either, but I do eat fish. (Yes - I know it isn't being a veggie but sometimes it is easier to explain it to others that way.) DH and DD both eat meat, so most nights I cook like that too.

When you come over next nip into the kitchen and have a look at them all and see if any take your fancy. You can then look before you buy

I love the Moosewood cookbooks too Pruni, I have all of them, they have a new one called Simple Suppers I believe. I have 3 sets of measure cups in my house, British, Aussie and American--=you could go nuts! I am also a vege that eats Fish.

I have a scale too Pruni!!!! It only really matters to the gram when you are baking though--as far as cooking you can become the artist within reason.

Friday sounds fine, not sure of our plans!
