Is there a 'dadsnet' or equivalent?

DH is looking for a website for dads and googling hasn't come up with anything much except brandnewdads.com which is very american. Apparently they use words like 'gotten'?! and he says its just a small step from that to rootbeer and sasparelli and then where would we all be .

I've told him he can post here, but I don't think he wants to muscle in. Any suggestions?

2 laptops?

DaddyCool · 15/11/2005 09:03

I saw an 'Acer' Laptop with a decent cetrino processor in Tesco Extra the other day for..... £500 bargain!

It's obviously not the highest spec in the world but it did have the decent centrino in it and it seemed ok.

zippitippitoes · 15/11/2005 09:05

just clicked and read dc laptop post and thought he was trying to lure him in with manly talk

mandymac · 15/11/2005 09:50

Pmsl at daddycool 'luring him in with manly talk'! . Any chance you can get a footie reference in too dc? Then we would have him hooked for sure!

OP posts:
DaddyCool · 15/11/2005 09:52

mandymac · 15/11/2005 10:09

HappyDaddy · 15/11/2005 13:58

And gadgets, don't forget highly expensive mostly useless but shiny gadgets. They are very important to a lot of us.

And filthy women, as DC said.

And football.

Mumtochloe · 15/11/2005 15:07

What sort of stuff (seriously now) would Dads want on a Dads net? Practical stuff about how to empty washing machine? Make a skirt for school play? Can things of lots that single/part time dads might want but let's here it from the horses' mouths.

And if you want dirty women we'll start adding hunky men to ours
