Teething question

I think ds is teething. He's 4 1/2 months old and is dribbling like crazy and pulling some rather strange faces (gurning?)

I've got some Ashton & Parsons powders but they don't seem toi be helping. He's just upset all day. Anyone suggest anything else to use?

Thanks

Calpol and teething gel.

Ibuprofen is far more effective for teething pain. However, you have to be careful with it as it can contribute to renal failure if your baby gets dehydrated (not a prob with teeth!).

I tend to restrict it for nightime use, unless DS is in a lot of discomfort with a concomitant fever; as we have just expereicned with his canine incisors

At that age, a dummy chilled in the fridge can be useful during the day. Some teething rings are just too hard.
