Agh. There are teacher rallies everywhere. I feel a bit guilty that I've not gone and joined one.... am a teeny bit scared of going to a rally....

Have made decision that if my temps are still up tomorrow I am going to test.

So, do I use one of my CBDs or should I get a FR? It's such a minefield and I don;t know which is best...... HELP!!!

Really up to you. When I got my BFP with DD it was CD26 & I used a Clear Blue...not a digital one. Got a v strong BFP!! Not sure that's much help, but I guess it just means that there isn't much in it between the brands!

SWI I've lost track of what DPO you're on now? Can you link to your chart again? I want to see!

So it's all fun and games over here. Everything has hit the fan at once it seems. DP and I have been passing like ships in the night for a month and barely seeing each other. He's now had to cancel 2 days of our 5 day holiday next week (the thought of which has been keeping me sane) due to his work - without consulting me first, either, which sparked off another row about how his work takes priority over anything else and my life has to just fall in line with it. On top of that, I've just found out that I've got to make some pretty big decisions in the coming weeks about my worklife for the next 3 years (long and complicated, but essentially whether I'm going to take on a work promotion whilst in the final year of my PhD, with a huge extra work load, and whether I go part time on my PhD and extend it a year as a result). Of course I'm going to need to be building 'when do we TTC?' into any decision I make, and that's going to be affected by what he wants to do/will commit to doing. It's so complicated it's making my brain hurt, I feel like crying just attempting to think about it all, and he and I won't even see each other to talk about it until Monday at the earliest cos (guess what) he's got loads of work on. It all brings to the front the feeling that I make my life choices based on our lives together, and he makes his mostly based on his work, and our lives have to fit around that, and I'm not sure what to do about that because it makes me really angry.

How's everyone else today?!

Oh Quod what a pain in the arse for you. You are quite right to be frustrated by your DH's work seeming to be more important that your life together. I've had a few experiences of DH on conference calls when we are abroad and him having to work all throught eh xmas break but I'd hit the roof if he had to cancel holiday plans for work.....

WW A BOY! A lovely little boy! I am sooooo excited :) Also amazing that you are off to Wimbledon on Sunday Envy you'll have a fab time :)

Today is 12DPO and CD 27....... testing in the am :)

Quod I know exactly what you mean. My DH will cancel everything for work but not for me. I often tell him he needs to treat me like his most important client... not that it seems to work Hmm. I'd be pretty unimpressed if he cancelled anything without consulting me, you're right to be v Angry about that.

It does seem (from my scientific survey of err my DH) that men often seem to put work first, everything else has to fit around the edges - whereas we prioritise DH, family, friends etc just as much.

WhyWait congratulations on your little boy, how exciting! Do you have a name chosen And v v envious about Wimbledon.

SWI I know you've missed the first morning wee but could you test today anyway... Just dehydrate yourself, it'll have the same effect! (AC I think your keenness has influenced me!)

Had a nice peaceful morning...making jam! And now DD is at preschool so went to the sugarcraft shop on my own...heaven! Could spend hours in there, it's like a cake making aladdins cave! :o
