I have been a sahm for 10 years. My boys are now at school.
I have worked as a cleaner (cash in hand) but one moved away, one was an old lady who didn't really want a cleaner but a nurse and one where a teenager was flashing me and making suggestive comments.
So, i try to get on a course but it closed as not enough students on it and really it's not worth while me working coz then i will lose my tax credits! and i don't have anyone to help in the holidays.
i used to do a dance class and that has shut so i feel just now that everything is sooo mundane and i am suffocating.
I know i shouldn't be complaining and a lot of people would love to be in my position....

get a grip mugface, get a grip........

Is there any way you could just do a part time job over Christmas to give you a bit of extra cash and more importantly keep your mind busy. Also join a gym and try and go a few times a week you may meet some new friends. I felt like this a few years ago and I got myself an evening job, now the youngest has started school full time I'm getting extra hours during the day. Have you got any friends that you can meet for lunch? Just going out for a walk or cycle ride can make you feel more energised.
