I want to live in Leamington Spa

I live 30 minutes away and I just really like Leamington Spa. It's pricey though. I used to work there right on top of the parade on Clarendon St/Rd? and it's got a really nice town center with plenty of shopping and the big three level georgian houses are fantastic.

anyone live near/in Leamington?

Golf course is lovely and an excellent council facility

DaddyCool · 11/11/2005 13:07

In my defence it was in a van, not in the middle of the actual carpark

DaddyCool · 11/11/2005 13:08

I just had my NOSE JOB at Warwick's Nuffield Hospital in LS and it was like a hotel.

nose job? why?

DaddyCool · 11/11/2005 13:15

I've just had a Septo-plasty (not really a nose job but i like to tell people it was) because i had a deviated septum and all sort of other problems up there. I snored like a pig. I still snore like a pig but they think it'll get better.

quite a catch i am!

mmmmm sexy. DW is a lucky laydee.

I talk in my sleep, scares DH

DaddyCool · 11/11/2005 13:18

"...mumble mumble... van...VAN?...you want to do what?....ok...."

OI! dw wake up!

OP posts:
NomDePlume · 11/11/2005 13:20

. Not quite. I also sleep with my eyes open occasionally, equally weird. DH says I talk total bollocks when asleep, not that much different from my waking life really.

DaddyCool · 11/11/2005 13:21

eyes open? seriously? hmmm, that would be a bit freaky IMO.

OP posts:
NomDePlume · 11/11/2005 13:22

seriously. Been doing it since I was a kid. I have strange sleeping habits. DS1 sleep walks, too.

I used to live in Leamington as a student (in the grotty bit). Love the town though and used to work not far from your office daddycool, at what was the Berni Inn at the top of the main street. I had a lovely green polyester uniform.

NomDePlume · 11/11/2005 13:28

what a gorgeous picture you paint, wilbur

DaddyCool · 11/11/2005 13:29

sounds nice wilbur

It was truly special NDP - puffed sleeves and everything. Free prawn cocktail and all the rolls I could take home on a Saturday night was a lifesaver as a student though.

NomDePlume · 11/11/2005 13:30

rofl

DaddyCool · 11/11/2005 13:31

puffed sleaves. ooh, now elegant. anne of green gables would be envious.

OP posts:
DaddyCool · 11/11/2005 13:32

... can you 'puff' polyester?

Just had this weeks Popbitch delivered to my inbox.....

" Pittsburg couple Ken Slaby and Gail O'Toole
had split up, but a couple of years later they
ended up in bed together again. Things were
going well until, according to Ken, he mentioned
that he had a new girlfriend.

Gail's response was to wait until he went to
sleep, and then glue his penis to his stomach,
his testicle to his leg, and his buttocks
together. Then she woke him up and kicked
him out of the house."

HAHAHAHAHA. OUCH !

NomDePlume · 11/11/2005 13:33

DaddyCool · 11/11/2005 13:33
