Maybe, like me today, she has a whopping great zit on her face and she is trying to get in and out of nursery without meeting anyone. I have to humiliate myself round Tesco later on......

Maybe she had something on her mind. Couple of weeks ago I introduced myself to a mum at dd's school; it was a tiny bit awkward 'cos I think she wasn't prepared for it; next time we saw them she said hello to me but I was thinking about something else and took some moments to register & felt bad; finally today we both recognised each other at same time and said hello together.

So give the lady another chance, yeh?

When this happens to me I always assume the other person is having a bad day.

Maybe I'm deluding myself and in fact no one likes me!
