Teddies, teddies everywhere - how do you keep yours?

There must be 30-40 teddies in my DD's room, all "special" that mustn't be got rid of. They are driving me crazy, how can I display them without them constantly falling off the tops of drawers? Anyone got any ideas please?

One of those chains that have pegs so you can hang them up by their ears (or is that cruel?)

Wasn't sure if you meant the underwear sort of teddies for a minute!!!

My two aren't great fans of soft toys, but my mother kept ours in a hay net. I'm not sure if you can buy these any more!

dd has a "bin" that they all squash into.

How about one of those toy hammocks?

We keep the big ones displayed nively on top of her wardrobe, some of the classic and favourites at the end of the bed and other smaller ones in a storage toy chest.

Every now and then I do a clear out of the rubbish ones that we seem to have collected along the way and she doesn't notice 1 or 2 missing every now and then.

my ds has lots of teddies & soft toys i put some on his draws & some on his bed the rest go in the bottem of his wardrobe & he gets them out as he wants them.

pmsl @ the chains and ears!!!

I've been meaning to get a hammock for them for aaaaaaaaaaages. Why do people insist on giving bloody teddies as presents for newborns??? Now they are all "special" and I can't bring myself to chuck any.

At the moment they are stored on her wardrobe, but she's worked out that if she climbs on a chair, she can yank them all down, so they are covering her bed, and she curls up in a little space she's made! One day I'll find the camera and take a photo...

My dd1 and dd2's are stuffed onto shelves, gathering dust. Keep meaning to put them in the freezer!

SecondhandRose · 11/11/2005 07:41

the freezer?!

Sounds like we've all got the same problem then. Will have to have a look at DD's storage problem this weekend!

Hmmmm... is the freezer where you store the scary teddies??

sweetkitty · 11/11/2005 09:13

I got a mesh tube thing from Ikea to store all DD's, looks funky and keeps them well out the way. Why is it when gp's visit they insist on bringing another teddy?

Won't let me do a link just now but they are at www.ikea.co.uk
