Mussels in white wine

The rest seems normal to me.

SPARKLER1 · 10/11/2005 17:15

yum - sounds delicious to me - not sure about the dropped bread though LOL!

crunchie · 10/11/2005 17:15

And only because the thought of mussels make me gag not the wine

LOL twiggs,

The waitress in Amsterdam nearly died when we gave our 20 month old DD Thai curry. She loves it as she does lots of spicy stuff. Haven't tried her on Mussells though I'm not a fan myself.

My worst on your list would be cheddars. She had some this morning at playgroup - probably off the floor as she drops everything. Its eat or be eaten there!

to be fair she only had the mussels because 4 year old DS left some

that sounds worse doesn't it?

the only reason I know DS likes mussels is because we went to a fish and chip shop (posh one) and DH ordered fish and chips which we decided DS then 3 could share and I ordered mussels because I really really fancied them .. the bugger sat there and chomped through all my mussels totally ignoring Daddy's chips

mussels in white wine sauce- contain protein, iron and zinc

chocolate mousse - source of iron

prawns (cooked and peeled) - source of protein, iron and zinc

cold sausages straight from the fridge - source of protein and fat (which is essential for healthy development)

bread that she dropped on the floor (in dentist's surgery) - carbohydrate

cheddars- protein and carbohydrate.

You should be ashamed of your self

Dd (21 months) likes mussels, snails, sushi, tofu, parma ham wrapped round buffalo mozzarella, raw tuna, nepalese takeaway... thank goodness. If she didn't, she'd never eat. My only complaint is the cost - at least she hasn't discovered caviar yet!

Twigs did you know we have a twiglette - I thought it was you going 'ooh la-la oh cherie!'
