Creepy or Cute

Ok, cannot decide if this is cute or just plain creepy or a bit of both, MIL told my mom that SIL (24, single, no kids) carries around a pic of LO everywhere she goes so she can see her and kiss the pic, and then when she comes home she has lots of pics of my LO all over and she gives them kisses and dances around with them. I know MIL thinks it's really cute SIL loves LO so much, and I appreciate all the attention and love for my LO, but still feel it's a bit creepy... what do you think?

Fine if she was kissing and dancing with your actual LO when visiting. But with pictures. A bit weird.

How often does she get to see her niece/nephew? Is she deprived and therefore deranged? Is she a bit mad, so you arekeeping some distance, or should you be, given the bizarre behaviour?!

I don't think it is wierd having her photo assuming she is close to you and your lo, i do think it is odd kissing and dancing with the photo, odder that she admitted to it is she overly affectionate when with your lo?

Is she generally a baby mad kind of person?

well, she lives in america, so she has really seen LO when she was born (she was here 2 weeks), and we try to skype with the family every week... I know she's always visiting the rest of her family when babies are around, so not saying she's totally creepy, just when my mom told me I told a friend and realized it sounded v.creepy, so just wanted to check if it was just me... maybe not so much if you know the back story, but still
