DIY for a completely incompetent couple! Putting up mirrors, shelves, hooks, emulsion on walls, removing hideous plywood pelmets put up by previous owner and making good, the most complicated job is removing the fake arch effect in the opening between our two front rooms and making good. Someone who could also replace light fittings would be a bonus....Any suggestions? We're in SW2. I can't POSSIBLY take part in any 'how is your house decorated' chat threads until SOMETHING has been done!
